Logo Design and Web Design

Objective

Upstart Marketing, LLC is seeking freelance graphic and web designers and/or small design firms to be pre-qualified for future assignments. Selected designers are likely to begin receiving repeat assignments this September.

Introduction

Upstart Marketing, LLC is a new business offering bundled packages of marketing tools geared towards new and emerging small businesses. The company is based in St. Johnsbury, Vermont but intends to operate on both local and national platforms. Two of Upstart's core services are logo design and web design. Upstart is now pre-qualifying freelancers and/or small design shops who are interested in becoming regular contributors on Upstart projects. Our goals are simple: we provide professional quality services to our clients at a reasonable price. We are looking for designers that are able to match these objectives.

While we do not offer big budget projects, there are significant benefits to working with Upstart Marketing including:

Logo Design Scope of Work

Upstart will offer four different logo assignments including:

A. Design 2 Logo Concepts and provide up to 2 Rounds of Revisions

B. Design 3 Logo Concepts and provide as many Rounds of Revisions as needed

C. Design 4 Logo Concepts and provide up to 4 Rounds of Revisions

D. Design 6 Logo Concepts and provide as many Rounds of Revisions as needed

- Concepts constitute all original designs with each one being unique.

- Revisions constitute amendments or alterations to an existing concept, such as font, color, or an addition to an already existing graphic.

- Upstart Marketing will provide all pertinent information, end-customer needs, and other guidelines needed for execution of the project.

- No end-customer service needed.

Web Design Scope of Work

Upstart will offer two different web design assignments including:

A. Design 1 web site with up to 5 pages, and provide up to 2 rounds of revisions.

B. Design 2 different home page concepts, then design 1 complete web site based on the chosen concept, up to 10 pages in total. Provide up to 3 rounds of revisions.

- Web site designs are all original and each home page concept is unique.

- Revisions constitute amendments or alterations to an existing site design or concept such as font, color, or an addition to an already existing page design.

- Upstart Marketing will provide a navigation scheme, copy, photography, all pertinent information, end-customer needs, and other guidelines needed for execution of the project.

- No end-customer service needed.

- Structure in XHTML with CSS, keep code clean and conforming to WC3 standards.

- Most components of the site should be editable in a standard WYSIWYG program. Some non XHTML components are encouraged, such as navigation buttons created in Adobe Photoshop or Macromedia Fireworks, however the parent files(.psd or .png) must accompany final product delivery.

- Attention should be given to basic SEO considerations.
